Birdman's Fine Pheasant Fare is a family-owned business based in Wisconsin, established in 1969. The company specializes in producing all-natural game bird meats, including pheasant, and offers a variety of snack products. Their product line features pheasant snack sticks available in six flavors, pheasant summer sausages in three flavors, and pheasant bratwursts in four flavors. Additionally, they provide other pheasant-based items such as pulled smoked pheasant, pheasant eggrolls, and whole smoked pheasant. The origins of Toubl Game Bird Farms date back to 1966 when Jan Toubl acquired three pheasants for training purposes. To enhance his knowledge in pheasant production, he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Poultry Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 1970. Over the years, the Toubl family has raised thousands of pheasants, wild turkeys, and partridges, catering to various markets including hunting, gourmet meats, dog training, wildlife restoration, and taxidermy. The company was recognized as one of the largest producers of wild turkeys in the Midwest for over three decades and held the title of the largest Afghan Whitewing Pheasant producer in the United States for more than twenty years. In 1983, Birdman's Fine Pheasant Fare expanded into specialty foods, launching a range of quality products for game bird enthusiasts. The company invested in a smokehouse oven and processing space to initiate this segment. By 1987, they constructed a processing facility on their farm that complied with USDA standards. To support their growing operations, they have since incorporated advanced equipment, including an automated packaging machine, a modern sausage stuffer, and additional smokehouses equipped with microprocessor controls.
